World Intellectual Property (IP) Panel Discussion

Legasis in partnership with the Bombay Stock Exchange and S.P. Mandali's Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool) hosted the World Intellectual Property (IP) Day Celebration on Monday, 26th April online. The theme for 2021 was IP and SMEs: Taking your ideas to market. A key feature of the event was the academia-corporate panel discussion on collective action for accelerating SME innovation and growth with esteemed speakers. Dr Anand Deshpande, Founder and Managing Director, Persistent Systems; Mr Girish Joshi, Chief Trading Operations and Listing Sales, BSE; Er. Sahastrarashmi Pund, Head - IPR at Endurance Technologies; Ms Ashwini Deshpande, Co-founder - Elephant Design; Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool and moderated by Mr Suhas Tuljapurkar, Founder and Non-Executive Director, Legasis.

WeSchool collaborates for Maharashtra Health Hackathon - MH² as Academic Partner

MH² was the first edition of virtual hackathons in healthcare sector that saw participants create, iterate, build, and develop solutions on the challenges faced by National Health Mission (NHM), Maharashtra. These participants formed in groups would compete on key tracks: vaccination & immunization; affordable diagnostic tools; responsive emergency services, and medical devices for improving neonatal care.

Universal Human Values Cell Inaugural

In association with AICTE's National Coordination Committee for Student Induction (NCC-IP), the Universal Human Values (UHV) Cell was inaugurated in the presence of our esteemed guest Prof. Dr. Umesh Jadhav -Western Region, coordinator for UHV and member of NCC-IP, and WeSchool leadership. The event was attended by Deans, PGDM students and teaching faculty. The session was also attended by 16 UHV members who delivered the sessions. The keynote speech was addressed by Prof. Umesh Namdev Jadhav on 'Need for Value Education'.

WeSchool International Week, a five-day program aims to build a global ecosystem of young talents, startups, and industry experts. It connects WeSchool students to cross border expansion opportunities and a network of high-quality mentors and industry experts.

The first virtual International Research Conference (IRC)

The key theme of the conference was 'Management Skills and Growth Strategies in the Post Pandemic Period'. The event was chaired by Dr. D. N. Murthy, Dean - Marketing and Research, WeSchool and mentored by Marketing Legend Dr. V. Kumar and Prof. Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool. The attendees included academia, research scholars, corporate leaders, and consultants.
