Dr. Radhika Uttam is an accomplished academician, researcher, and educator with over a decade of experience in higher education. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Bengaluru, where she has been actively involved in teaching, research, student mentoring, and academic administration since 2019.

Dr. Radhika holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, with her doctoral research focusing on ‘The impact of Corporate Governance, Sustainability Reporting Disclosures and Stakeholder Engagement Strategies on Corporate Performance’. She has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout her educational journey. She completed her M.Com. from the University of Mysore with distinction and secured outstanding academic records at every level of education. She has also qualified both the UGC-NET and K-SET examinations, reflecting her strong academic foundation and commitment to higher education.

Her teaching career began in 2015, and over the years she has taught at reputed institutions including St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru, and Vidyaniketan College. Her areas of expertise include, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting and Corporate Finance. She is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and is dedicated to helping students bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications.

An active researcher, Dr. Radhika has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes, and conference proceedings. Her research interests span sustainability reporting, corporate governance, ESG performance, stakeholder engagement, financial performance, fintech, and sustainable business practices. Her scholarly contributions have been published in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed and UGC-CARE-listed publications, as well as books published by leading academic publishers such as Springer, Emerald, and IGI Global.

Dr. Radhika’s commitment to academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards and honours. She is a recipient of the Smt. Padma Satya Narayana Memorial Gold Medal for securing the second rank in B.Com. Her academic achievements have been consistently recognized, including being named Best Outgoing Student throughout her educational journey. She was also honoured with the Sri Radhakrishnan Young Teacher Award for her contributions to teaching and student development.

Beyond teaching and research, she actively contributes to institutional development through various academic and administrative responsibilities. She has also guided students in internships, live projects, research activities, and career development initiatives.

Driven by a passion for education, research, and lifelong learning, Dr. Radhika Uttam continues to inspire students and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of finance, sustainability, and business management.
