Teaching Experience: 18 years

Industry Exposure: 4 years of experience in the area of Product and Brand Management, spanning across sectors such as Entertainment (amusement parks) and Home Décor. In addition my academic contribution, my experience in the education sector has involved, overall branding and marketing, accreditations and global partnerships and several institution building initiatives.

Project related to enhancing the market for an international air purifier brand in India, 2018.

Detailed research based Projects related to Consumer Behaviour, in Financial products at the BoP, Women Hygiene product usage in rural areas, Food Sector, enhance usage of Khadi among youth among others, from 2011-2017.

As part of the Institute's philosophy of WeLink and Care and applying Each One Teach One, the Institute guided a Business School in a rural geography. Areas include providing mentoring support with respect to Academic areas and innovative learning initiatives.

International Conference: Presented Paper ‘Exploring The Behaviour Of Consumers, from Mumbai in Response To Social Media Marketing And Using It To Develop Suitable Marketing Strategies For Brands’.in International Conference On Social Media Marketing (ICSMM 2014) held at WeSchool, Bengaluru. The Paper has been Published by Published by Excel Books.

International Case Studies: Case authored “The Game Just Got Bigger” won second prize internationally and is accepted among the 10 cases from India as part of the Giving Voice to Values (GVV) curriculum at, Babson College, USA. The Case is now published by Giving Voice to Values, Babson College & United Nations Global Compact PRME (Principle for Responsible Management Education).

Currently Submitted PhD Thesis on “Impact and Effect of Social Media on Consumer Behaviour”, with specific reference to Mumbai,India, 2018.

• Second position internationally for the, Case authored “The Game Just Got Bigger” which was among the 10 cases from India as part of the Giving Voice to Values (GVV), 2014. The Aspen Institute was founding partner, along with the Yale School of Management, and incubator for Giving Voice to Values (GVV). Funded by Babson College. An essay announcing the collection appeared in the CII online publication Sustainable Tomorrow, in the spring 2014.Giving Voice to Values, Babson College & United Nations Global Compact PRME (Principle for Responsible Management Education).

• Nominated Linnaeus Palme Scholarship for faculty exchange to Malardalen University, Sweden SIDA (Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency), April 2015. The Linnaeus-Palme programme is an exchange programme for teachers and students. The aim of the programme is to promote long-term cooperation based on mutual benefit between higher education institutions in Sweden and those in developing countries in order to stimulate further global internationalization of higher education.
