Research Experience

Project Title:Exploratory study and Forecasting of Financial Assessment of Motion Picture using Artificial Intelligence modeling.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) | Mumbai, India.

• Explored the making of box-office collection using the Indian film industry, Bollywood, as a case by in-depth interviews with cinematic experts in the industry and analyzes the interview transcripts using thematic content analysis.
• Examined the intricate relationships in the making of a box office through a lens of Stakeholder Theory-based marketing framework that considers the influence of filmmakers and theatres on moviegoers’ intention to watch a movie at the theatre. Employed covariance-basedstructural equation modelling (CB-SEM) to analyze survey data on cinema-going experience collected from 673 moviegoers in digital era of new normal.
• Developed a predictive model based on the insights derived from the previous two studies. Validated predictive model by scraping comprehensive data pertaining to various movie features that influence a movie's financial success was collected from diverse online sources. This data was subsequently utilized for the deployment of classification Machine Learningmodels.

Research Project

The part of the project team for the study titled “An Evaluation Study of the Cluster Offices

Initiated by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in three different States of India” sponsored by NABARD and carried out by Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (We School), Matunga, Mumbai.

Brief about the study:

This study endeavours to comprehend the perspectives of diverse stakeholders associated with NABARD concerning their engagement with two distinct administrative frameworks, namely, District Development Manager (DDM) and Cluster Office. The overarching aim of this research is to investigate whether the Cluster Office format significantly contributes to amplifying NABARD's prominence, particularly in advancing its branding efforts in district development encompassing agriculture, allied sectors, and business development. This is pivotal in its role as a central driving force for rural development.
