Information Systems
 Welingkar has created a state-of-the-art information systems setup consisting of Gigabit Ethernet Backbone, Fast Ethernet to the desktop and 2 Mbps lease line along with a website caching server. The ISDN backup line provides zero downtime to the Institute connectivity interface. Approx. 350 desktop nodes are connected to LAN with Cisco Switches and Category 6 LAN Cables. The Entire campus has Wireless LAN connectivity. Each Hot Spot in Wireless LAN can support more than 100 Concurrent Connections with 11 Mbps of Bandwidth per connection.  
 
Computer Centre
 The computer centre is equipped with 130 PCs, exclusively for students use. The computer centre is well equipped with relevant licensed packages like Office XP, SPSS, Sys-Stats, Mini TAB, Crisil-Infac, Capital line 2000, Trend and Prowess. Welingkar also provides access to new Database Software's like Oracle and SQL Server 2000 to the students. 
  

Servers
 The Server Farm has Citrix Application Servers which provides remote access to the softwares/packages. The Citrix application server farm uses SSL channel (Verisign) to communicate with users to keep communication secure. Every user has a unique Login ID and Password for authentication with the server.

Almost all servers use Microsoft Windows 2000 Advance server operating system and nodes with Windows 2000 Professional. The entire server farm and the user nodes are protected by Symantec Enterprise Antivirus and Firewall.

  

Library Access
 Users can access software like Capital Line, Prowess etc. or online Library Application like Webopac to check book status in the library from anywhere by visiting https://nfuse.welingkar.org. The institute has tie up with a logistics companies to provide pickup/delivery of the books.

  

Email Access
 Every student and staff member is provided with a mail ID. Mail IDs are also provided to alumni as well. Email can be accessed by visiting http://email.welingkar.org

  

E-learning
 Students can access Hive, an e-learning software by visiting http://elearn.welingkar.org. All students can submit online assignments and give online tests using this software. Faculty members can upload case studies on different subjects on the site. Students can access the site contents through valid user name and password.

  

Classrooms
 All Classrooms are equipped with LCD Projector and Computer for online presentations and video conferencing facility.
