We Initiative
It has been a long tradition for WeSchool to build bonds and maintain relationships. As Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe Group Director WeSchool always says “Network is Net-worth”, Media and Entertainment program team got an opportunity to bring the alumni of the media industry together for an evening to reconnect, recall and revive bonds and friendships.
WeSchool had organised a Healthcare Alumni Conclave 2022 on 29th November 2022 in the Mumbai campus. The theme of the conclave was “Technology – A Game Changer for Healthcare Industry”.
WeSchool’s Rural Management Program had organised an Alumni Conclave 2022 on 26th November 2022 in the Mumbai campus. The theme for the conclave was “Envisaging Future Rural Business Leaders”.
The Mumbai leg of Smart India Hackathon (SIH), a nationwide initiative by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell was conducted at the WeSchool campus in a graceful prize distribution ceremony on 26th August, 2022.
In association with Center for Creative Leadership, GCL is a platform for corporate stalwarts to impart leadership skills to students & address industry issues.
Inspired by “Think India, Transform India”, WeSchool Bengaluru conducted the idea contest for 100 graduate colleges of South India.
Co-innovation platform designed to address emerging industry challenges with innovative technologies for domains like Health Technology, Urban Development & more.
Orientation event for students to become future generators of sustainable value for business & society.
Scholarships
Dr. G. SunJewels Scholarship: The scholarship is to encourage high potential students from underprivileged families or single parent families, who struggle to pay the required tuition fees of PGDM Programme. The selected student will also need to fulfil the continuous assessment measures of WeSchool. This initiative covers One full-tuition fee scholarship choosing to pursue PGDM Business Design.
Dr Rinti Banerjee scholarship in Healthcare: This scholarship covers 50% of the fee for one woman student of the PGDM Healthcare student with MBBS background. The scholarship was started in 2022, to encourage female MBBS students to pursue management education in healthcare. This scholarship is expected to attract more women medicos to Management and hopes to increase women in leadership positions in the healthcare sector.
