\"\"<\/a>To celebrate their core value \u201cWe Link and Care\u201d, S.P. Mandali\u2019s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool) had organized a Celebration Week for World Environment Day 2022, from 4th<\/sup> June to 10th<\/sup> June, 2022 for students, faculty and staff. Through this initiative WeSchool endeavored to raise awareness and inculcate sustainable habits among the youth as part of the lifestyle of the youth community,\u00a0 that are in harmony with nature.<\/p>\n

The events that were undertaken for the students included Beach Clean-up, Tree Plantation and visit to a Nursery. An online poster and video making competition was also organised for the children of the staff and faculty of WeSchool. A collection drive of clothes and school and college books for underprivileged children in collaboration with Khushiyan NGO was organised. Apart from this soft and hard plastics, paper (newspaper and magazines), metals, E-Waste was collected for recycling in collaboration with Recircle.<\/p>\n

The closing ceremony for this event took place in the presence of Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe – Group Director on June 28, 2022. Dr. Salunkhe announced and distributed certificates and prizes to the winners and participants of the video and poster making competition. He congratulated all the faculty and staff members of WeSchool for participating and contributing toward various initiatives on the occasion of the World Environment Day. He also urged that everyone should continue working towards this cause on day to day basis.<\/p>\n
