The event was addressed by respected President, Ram Nath Kovind; Prime Minister, Narendra Modi; Vice President, M. Venkaiah Naidu, and Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our honorable\u00a0President Ram Nath Kovind expressed his warm greetings to all citizens of India. In his speech, he highlighted how\u00a0today&#8217;s day commemorates not only our Indian Constitution but also recalls and remembers the architect of the Constitution &#8211; Dr. BR Ambedkar, as a expression of gratitude.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">PM Narendra Modi spoke about the signifance of the Consitution of India as a sacred book. He recalled the Indian consitution as binding for\u00a0all citizens of India\u00a0and that we must believe in it, while focussing on our duty as responsible citizens. He also said that\u00a0today\u00a0is a\u00a0memorable occasion as India\u00a0observes its\u00a0Constitution Day,\u00a0however let us not forget\u00a0the Mumbai terror attacks which took place on this date\u00a0back in\u00a02008.\u00a0He paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the attack.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing the joint session of houses,\u00a0Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri. Om Birla descirbed\u00a0today&#8217;s day as a day of fundamental duty festival. He mentioned how the Constitution respects the diversity of all India&#8217;s citizens. It has the duties and as well as rights for each citizen.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our Vice President of India, Shri. M\u2009Venkaiah Naidu also addressed the nation by urging the citizens to follow call of duty. He reinstated the importance of the Constitution.
