With PM Modi taking center stage at Lucknow, New Yorkers heading\u00a0 to\u00a0 Times Square in search of inner peace,\u00a0Singapore hosting\u00a0 its first ever\u00a0 International Day of Yoga, the iconic Great Wall of Beijing\u00a0 becoming a \u00a0venue for the yoga\u00a0 sessions, Egypt lining up\u00a0 several events across the country and workshops encompassing yoga, wellness practices and meditation techniques held across Mumbai made the International Day of Yoga 2017,a truly \u00a0inspirational mega-event celebrated across the globe.<\/p>\n

S.P. Mandali\u2019s Prin. L.N. Welingkar Institute of Management and Research (WeSchool<\/strong>) took the lead once again by celebrating\u00a0\u00a0 International Day of Yoga with its students, faculty and staff members this morning. The team got together under the leadership of Prof Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool<\/strong>to relive the moments of inner peace, balance and harmony. The young trainers from AMI Yogafamiliarized all participants from WeSchool in the finer aspects of the ancient Indian philosophy as they guided them through the various Asanas<\/em>,Pranayamaand Prandharana meditation <\/em>techniques during the one hour session at WeSchool.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThe theme for the 2017 celebrations, by United Nations, is ‘Yoga for Health \u2018, thathighlights the holistic way in which Yoga contributes to an equilibrium between mind, body and soul. This approach to health and wellbeing can make a direct and useful contribution to our quest to achieve sustainable development and move towards lifestyles in harmony with nature\u201d,said Prof Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, and WeSchool,<\/strong>a yoga practitioner, adventurer and sports enthusiast himself.<\/p>\n
