Hon' Governor of Maharashtra Shri CV Rao releases the special edition of Vivek Hindi Magazine focused on North-East India in the presence of RSS <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n <\/p>\n
A conclave for Rising North-East India was hosted at Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research in partnership with Vivek Magazine (Hindi). The conclave took place in the presence of Shri Dattatray Hosbale, Joint General Secretary of RSS with Governor of Maharashtra, Shri CV Rao, as Chief Guest. Only recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had stated that North East India will play a vital role in the development of our nation. He had described the NE region as the \u201cAshta Lakshmi\u201d of our country.<\/p>\n
Shri Hosbale, one of the key speakers at the event, shared the efforts involved in the support of the national campaign and stressed upon the potential of North-Eastern States in the development of country.<\/p>\n
The two guests shared their views on the contribution of North-East in India\u2019s economic and social development. Shri CV Rao addressed that Maharashtra should support the students of North East by providing technical and management skills. \u201cEducation institutes like WeSchool should encourage students, especially girls, to learn new skills and compete at national level,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director of WeSchool, stressed on the role of education institutes and stated, \u201cWe should focus on Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship to nurture and develop the youth community for the betterment of our nation. WeSchool believes in building Global Citizen Leaders and works towards instilling leadership skills in the budding entrepreneurs.\u00a0 Project Netrutva is initiated to groom students from economically weaker backgrounds and offer them an opportunity to attain management education to facilitate in building their career. Given the right opportunity and providing an inclusive structure to the youth will help to provide an equal opportunity to students from financial weaker sections to excel as much as those with many resources.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further pressed on the importance of providing equal opportunities to students from all financial backgrounds to excel in their fields. \u201cLeadership is critical to make important and impactful changes and the youth must be part of playing a role in it and experiencing it. If we as a nation take the leadership role in making changes in some key policies to improve inclusiveness, we will soon see youth believe and participate in the change and transformation we want to see.\u201d<\/p>\n
The event also marked the release of Vivek Magazine\u2019s special edition of Diwali. The edition was title \u2018Ashta Lakshmi Purovattar\u2019 and highlights the diverse culture and tradition of North-East States of India.<\/p>\n
