The teaching and training on the theoretical concepts\/techniques of Recruitment, happens quite well at Business Schools. However, what remains not so well taught is the &#8216;hands-on&#8217; experience of actually hiring individuals, at\u00a0 different levels of Management. \u00a0While the expectation \u00a0of organisations from their \u00a0fresh Management Graduates( \u00a0HR \u00a0specialisation) is that the latter \u00a0would\/should \u00a0demonstrate\u00a0 \u00a0good understanding of the process and be able to assist\/actively add value. However, in reality this expectation is not fulfilled . In \u00a0many instances, the fresh HR recruits fall short of displaying the necessary competence and finesse.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.welingkar.org\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/KLA_1446.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3608\" title=\"KLA_1446\" src=\"https:\/\/www.welingkar.org\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/KLA_1446-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a>Recognising this gap, IKYA Human Capital Solutions Ltd, one of India&#8217;s largest diversified HR Services providers,\u00a0 collaborated with \u00a0Prin L.N .Welingkar Institute of Management Development &amp;Research, Mumbai ( WeSchool) , a leading B School in the country , to design\u00a0 a program\u00a0 to address, enhance and certify \u00a0the recruitment skills of \u00a0aspiring HR professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The program \u00a0comprised of Instructor-led Sessions, Workshops and &#8216;Live Environment&#8217; activities and was delivered by senior leaders from IKYA, along with \u00a0\u00a0Prof:Vijayan, Dean, HR and his team\u00a0 from \u00a0WeSchool. The program was initially conducted as a pilot for the HR Batch of WeSchool ( 11-13) in 2012. On \u00a0incorporating the learnings from the Pilot, the upgraded Program has been completed for the 12-14 \u00a0Batch of 41 students. The students have been \u00a0certified as Recruiters- based on their class-work, assignments and hands-on experience- \u00a0over a 30 hour program, spread over a period of 4 months.<\/p>\n<p>At the Certification Awards Ceremony held at WeSchool recently, the Chairman and Managing Director of IKYA, Mr <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welingkar.org\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/KLA_1399.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3609\" title=\"KLA_1399\" src=\"https:\/\/www.welingkar.org\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/KLA_1399-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a>Ajit Isaac, presented the Certificates to the 41 successful participants along with Prof Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool.
