Program Overview
The Future of Business is design
Design and Innovation may soon become the buzzword
of Leadership and Management. Because of the growing
power to affect human behaviour, increasing number
of organizations think that executives should adopt
an innovative design perspective, as Innovation
is the key that leads to the competitive edge in
Business.Design moves things from an existing condition
to a preferred one. Design can be applied to a product,
process and the organization as a whole to produce
a desired effect that makes Businesses prosper.
Post Graduate Program in Business Design is a
breakthrough futuristic program which will enable
a student have a holistic approach towards management
by using his creative skills as well as his logical
capabilities while carrying out any function of
management. The Program provides a unique Design
perspective to Business.
With design becoming increasingly important in
the changing world of Management, qualities that
the industry needs in it's Design managers are
Creativity, Innovation, using both sides of the
Brain, Empathy, Multisensing capability, Observation,
Entrepreneurial spirit etc. The program on Business
Design encourages these qualities in the Managers
of the future, who not only do things differently

Program structure
The program comprises of 18 months of classroom
teaching and practical training and 6 months project
based internship with leading companies.
Curriculum has all the General Management subjects
including Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations

Fee Structure
The tuition fee for the course is INR 1.75 Lacs
per annum.

Admissions
Admissions are based on merit only. No discrimination is made on basis of the state from which graduation certificate is obtained. There are no reservations for linguistic minorities either.
Selection Process
The selection process begins with candidates being shortlised based on CAT (19th November 2006) / MH-CET (2007) and / ATMA (11th February 2007) scores, Academic Performance, Work Experience.This is followed by Group Discussions, Interviews and Psychometric Test. Points are also awarded for Extra Curricular Activities and the details provided in the Application Form. Admissions are based purely on merit.
