Assistant Professor Rural Management

He has extensively worked for over 6 years in rural development through training of youth. Dissemination of modern methods of agriculture & biotechnology for agri-preneurship and agribusiness development and developing low cost technologies for value addition to perishables are the key areas of his past assignments. Development of training facilities in the areas of Horticulture, Greenhouse technology and Plant tissue culture are some major highlights of his professional achievements. He has been involved intimately in research and development of novel nutraceuticals for malnourished children in rural areas.

A We school alumnus, he topped the first batch of Diploma in ABM. He is qualified Assistant Professor with NET by ICAR, New Delhi, also recognised by UGC and CSIR. He has done PG research in Horticulture from Centre For Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology (CPBMB) at Kerala Agricultural University. At PG, he was Junior Research Fellow of the ICAR, New Delhi. At graduation, he was gold medalist at Dr B S Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. Specialized trainings undergone include Agriclinics and Agribusiness (NABARD), Polyhouse Technology (HTF Project at CoA, Pune), Plant tissue culture (Dr K H Gharda Institute, Mumbai). He is an associate member of Indian society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP).

Presently he is focussing on development of Agribusiness Management programme at We school.
