Assistant Professor-General Management

With an Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunications and a Post Graduate in Management, she has been in the training & education field since the last 14 yrs including a brief stint with corporate training during her 4 years stay in USA.Her experience in teaching and training in the last 8 years spans across areas of HR, Business Communication, Soft skills and personality development at graduate, PG and Corporate level.

She has delivered sessions for employees of Tata Inst. - NCBS, Infosys BPO and a Korean company- Nongwoo seed and BOSCH senior management employees and has conducted sessions for students of National University of Singapore(NUS).She has also mentored students of NUS on creating Business Model. She has also done a consulting assignment on Training Content Development on "Exit Policies and Compensation and Benefits" for Accenture BPO.

She has published papers in national and international journals like ICFAI, Zenith, JCMT and AIMS and Welingkar’s AWESHKAR journal and conference proceedings of ISTD, IEC and published articles in "Deccan Herald" and "The Statesman" newspapers.She has presented papers at IIM Bangalore for 10th AIMS conference, AIMA, PESIT and other conferences. She was invited by Karnataka State Accounts Dept. for conducting a session for its senior employees on "Employee Motivation" and was also invited by Vijaya Bank STC for conducting a workshop on “Stress management and Corporate etiquettes” for its senior Chief Managers.

Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor with Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Bangalore Campus in the Executive Education (MDC) dept. and is also pursuing her Ph.D in the areas of Leadership from Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU).
