Prof. Sonia Mehrotra has 13 years of industry experience coupled with 7 years of teaching experience in MBA program. She is a B.E. (Chemical) and a MBA with a dual specialization in Marketing-HR. She also holds an M.Phil in Management. Her area of specialization in teaching is HR and Organizational Behavior.

She has a vast experience in process designing with her stint at companies like Engineers India Ltd. and Punj Lloyds Ltd. She is an enthusiastic case writer on real time corporates with corporate case studies published at International Publishing Houses as Ivey Publishing House and Emerald Group Publishing. She has presented papers at International Conferences including the ones conducted by International Journal of Arts and Science at Massachusetts, Harvard University, Boston.

She has been a resource person at forums like Madras Management Association and at MEPs of various city colleges, Chennai. She was Madras University representative on the Board of Studies of MA HRM program of Women’s Christian College, Chennai from 2010-2012.

A certified RPL trainer from Hobart Technology, Australia, her research area of interest is ’ Work Life Balance’ and has submitted her doctoral thesis in the same area.
